CURRENT SCAMS

Federal Credit Unions are again the target of phishing attacks. Both members and non-members are receiving text messages and phone calls informing them that their accounts have been closed, are negative, or are having suspicious activity. These calls are NOT coming from a legitimate source and individuals should be reminded to never provide their personal private information. During the holiday season these phishing attacks may become more frequent.

ALWAYS REMEMBER: Coastland Federal Credit Union will NEVER ask for your private financial information through email or telephone.

BILL PAY UPGRADE

We are excited to announce that bill pay has been upgraded - as of OCTOBER 20th. To serve you better, this upgrade features an easy-to-use product with more time saving details, plus all the features you've come to expect in bill pay.

What to expect:

-- All of your scheduled payments, payees, and up to 18 months of payment history will still be there

GOING LIVE WITH NEW CARDS

Coastland has converted to Real Time ATM/Debit Card Processing!

On April 15th new ATM and Debit cards with New PIN #s were mailed out to all of our current Cardholders. The new Debit cards have a picture of the globe and our new ATM card displays a flag. These cards went active on May 1st.

**The old green cards have been cancelled and will need to be destroyed.

GOING LIVE provides you with:

-- When you make a purchase using your Visa Debit card the transaction will immediately post to your account.
-- When you use your ATM card at any ATM, the transaction will immediately post to your account.
-- All transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, etc.) made at any of our convenient branch locations will immediately post to your account.

To report lost or stolen VISA credit cards please contact VISA CUSTOMER SERVICE
1-800-299-9842. You can also call this number after hours for balance inquiries. If suspicious activity was suspected on your card, the card could have a temporary block.

LOST or STOLEN ATM/DEBIT CARDS
To report lost or stolen ATM or Debit Cards, 24 HOURS A DAY, 7 DAYS A WEEK please contact customer services at 1-866-546-8273. If you are experiencing difficulty with your card due to a block on the card, you can also verify that information at the same number. If suspicious activity was suspected on your account, the account could have a temporary block until someone has been able to reach you and verify the transactions.
